What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to promote health and wellbeing. Aromatherapy uses concentrated oils made from the flowers, fruit, seeds, leaves, root or bark of certain plants. There are more than 400 essential oils. Some are use to make perfumes or cosmetics. Aromatherapy can stimulate your sense of smell.to make you feel calm or excited.

What are essential oils?

Aromatic essential oils are the highly concentrated essences found in many plants.

Extraction Methods

The method used to extract essential oil depends on the type of plant. The most widely used method is Steam Destilation, cold press extraction but the most delicate plants  require Absolute Extraction - without using Steam or heated water.

Essential oils around animals

Essential oils should not be used internally or topically  for animals. Always dilute aromatic essences. Candles, diffuser or carrier oil, sprays are consider safe to be used around pets. However, always be mindful of your pets, and provide them an escape route to a different room. Never used them neat  and avoid getting the oils into your animal's delicate

eyes or ears.

Essential oils expiry date

We recommend using our products within 6 (For some, particularly limonene - containing citrus oils like lemon) up to 12 months after purchase and writing the date  after opening it so you can keep track of your own essential oils - aromatherapy products.  Oxidation rates vary, but most essential oils can be safely used for 1-2 years or more after opening. All of our products are produce in small batches to ensure the highest quality and freshness. Our essential oils are therapeutic grade oils, we guarantee our essential oils are 100% pure as stated on the labels.  Our essential oils come from all over the world. All essential oil blends are bottled on our premises to ensure quality.

Essential oils safety

Skin: Using a 2% essential oil dilution is generally considered a safe guideline for topical application of essential oils on adults. For children, elderly or pregnant, use only essential oils regarded as safe. 

Essential oils may cause an allergic reaction and serious eye irritation. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

Essential oils are very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Keep your bottle in a safe place, away from children and pets. Keep essential oils away from heat, hot surfaces and open flames.

Essential oils contain naturally occurring allergens, and if used neat, you are very likely to get some kind of skin reaction.

Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Cinnamal, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Anisyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Cinnamate, Citronellol, Farnesol, Limonene, Linalool.
